A letter from Stan Bower to the businessmen in the St. Louis region:

Stan Bower

Dear Friend,

On May 19, 2017, God spoke to me through His Word that after 20 years in St. Louis, it was time to move to Dallas and begin a new CBMC venture of evangelism and discipleship.

I had concentrated on some specific verses in my quiet time over the past year, and it all came together for me on that day. John 16:13 states, “But when He, the spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” On May 17, I asked God to give me the last portion of conviction that He wanted me to go to Dallas. On May 19th, I ended up on Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This is the same verse which sent us from Houston to St. Louis, by the way.

I asked of the Lord, “Do you want me to go?” He said, “Yes.” I asked, “Are you sure you want me to go to Dallas after 20 years in St. Louis? Even while the work here is not finished and the current leadership and discipleship work is going so well?” He answered, “Yes.”

So, I am returning to Texas, but a new town – Dallas. There is no formal CBMC organization there, thus this is a start-up movement. Therefore, please continue sending financial support as we need it, and pray like crazy, keep your head down and pass the ammunition. We will start a war in Dallas, a war to win the hearts of men to follow Him.

I am now ‘Sent, Went and Put’ again … as stated by Major Ian Thomas in his book, The Saving Life of Christ, which I believe to the second-best book ever written in Christianity. Yes, sent to touch more lives for Him.

This does not make common sense, only God’s sense…Go God!
