The marriage seminar is a one-day event designed to be interactive and experiential, where couples have an opportunity to assess the interpersonal level of their relationship and receive helpful teaching. Topics covered are learning about individual needs, healing inevitable hurt, understanding healthy relationships, and ‘leaving father and mother’. Workshops are mixed with teaching, videos, and personal stories from those who have ‘been there/done that’. Following completion of the seminar participants are invited to be a part of a 6 month marriage small group to explore these topics in greater detail.
The seminar is designed to create a passion in couples to invest in their relationship or marriage and then be intentional about conforming it to God’s design. For many couples, this is the first time they have made a positive effort at making their relationship better. Working on a marriage is an honor – in spite of the difficulty - as we attempt to bring glory to God as husbands and wives.
