Chautauqua, Illinois is situated off the Great River Road, nestled below the bluffs of the Mississippi River, surrounded by a forest of rich, fall colors. Only 40 miles from Downtown St. Louis, Chautauqua provides a much-needed escape from the frenzied pace of our everyday world.
This fall retreat is wrapped into 36 hours of outdoor enjoyment and is comprised of two parts. It begins with a wild game lunch and our annual sporting clays event at Otter Creek Hunting Club in Jerseyville, Illinois. This segment of the retreat runs from 11:30 am - 4:30 pm on Friday.
After everyone has had their fill of shooting and venison - it’s off to Chautauqua for the remainder of our weekend. The evening kicks off with a catered dinner, followed by the first session led by our guest speaker. By 9:00 pm, we adjourn and spend the rest of the evening relaxing with each other at several of the cabins. The following day begins with a mouth-watering breakfast, and then we gather for more sessions with our speaker. Plenty of free time is woven in, as well as a delicious lunch, with the retreat concluding by 3:00 pm on Saturday. Once you come to our fall retreat, you will be sure to make it a regular part of your annual event schedule!
